Why is this different?
The NMF complex is a mixture
of amino acids and other derivatives that sustain hydration in the stratum
corneum (uppermost layer of skin). Acting as a non-comedogenic
moisturiser (humectant mixture), it retains moisture while strengthening
the skin barrier. The amount of NMF in the Stratum corneum determines how much
water it can hold at a particular humidity level. Panthenol, a non-oily
skin hydrator, prevents transepidermal water loss & also soothes skin
and works well for oily/acne-prone skin.
